Fête des Vendanges Neuchâtel 2026

Neuchâtel celebrates the 99th Fête des Vendanges from 25 to 27 September 2026. For one weekend, the city centre becomes a large harvest festival. Celebrations also extend along the quays beside Lake Neuchâtel. As a result, wine culture, local food and music shape the entire city.

The winegrowers’ village brings producers and regional partners together in around twenty chalets. Visitors can discover wines from the canton in an accessible setting. Meanwhile, concerts and food stands run throughout the weekend. Traditional events connect the annual harvest with contemporary city life.

A major Swiss harvest tradition

First, the Grand Corso Fleuri fills the streets on Sunday, 27 September, from 14:00 to 17:00. Decorated floats, music and performance groups form the main parade. In addition, the children’s parade adds a family highlight. On Saturday at 20:30, a pyromelodic show illuminates the Bay of Évole. The premium viewing area is sold out. However, the display remains freely visible from the lakeside.

The festival is one of French-speaking Switzerland’s best-known harvest celebrations. It suits wine travellers, families and visitors interested in regional traditions. Therefore, it offers a lively introduction to Neuchâtel’s wine culture.
