Amphora Wine Day 2026

Amphora Wine Day 2026 gathers claypot wine producers at Herdade do Rocim in the Alentejo on 14 November. More than forty producers from Europe and beyond are announced for an afternoon devoted to wines made in amphoras and Portugal’s talha tradition.

From 14:00 to 19:00, visitors can taste different interpretations of claypot winemaking, meet producers and discover regional Alentejo dishes. The programme also highlights the opening of the amphoras and the release of the new vintage.
